In line with the Resolution of the Corporation’s AGM 2012-2013 on business restructuring, on December 27, 2013, Gemadept Corporation officially signed an agreement to transfer 85% of its share capital in the total charter capital of VND 936,102,000,000 of Maritime Trading Promotion Company Limited (MARPRO) to 4 subsidiaries of Korean CJ Group.
Before the transfer, MARPRO is a subsidiary 100% owned by GMD. MARPRO is the company that owns and operates Gemadept Tower at No.6 Le Thanh Ton Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Hochiminh City.
