The project is the pride of the Vietnamese people when it becomes one of the Top 19 commercial ports in the world that can receive the currently largest vessel size, up to 200,000 DWT, and it is also one of the most important transshipment hubs in Southeast Asia.
Along with Gemadept's existing port network, with high capacity and utilization, Gemalink deep-sea port, when put into operation, will double Gemadept's port capacity and becomes a reliable choice for leading shipping lines on their maritime maps, as well as for the import and export enterprises in Southeast Asia.
Gemalink, the country's largest deep-sea port, strategically located at the mouth of the Cai Mep River in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, test run by end of 2020 and official operation in early 2021, is a meaningful gift to Gemadept's customers and partners on the occasion the Company’s 30th anniversary.
In the Logistics sector, Gemadept continues to meet the needs of customers, launching new services, including comprehensive logistics solution consultation, optimizing the design of businesses’ supply chain, thereby supporting businesses to reduce logistics costs and improve their competitiveness in the market.
