Training and education are strategic investments for the prosperity of each country in general and each business in particular. Nowadays, the most important competitive advantage of businesses is human resource quality, which has a close link to the constant training and upgrading knowledge of employees.
On August 22nd, 2018, right after the issuance of 1H 2018 Business Conference, implementing Gemadept BOM’s decision on improving key staffs’ management capability towards a professional working environment, Gemadept kicked-off the training program on management for managers and vice managers at Gemadept’s H.O. and Gemadept Shipping.
Gemadept chose Corporate Training Solutions (CTS) as its partner in this program. CTS is one of the pioneers to provide high-quality HR development and training courses. The company has successfully carried out 2,000 training courses for over 200 businesses in the last 14 years.
Joining this training program, there are around 30 employees who are managers, deputy managers and future managers being proposed by Gemadept’s business units. The course lasts 14 weeks from August 22nd to November 16th, 2018.
In the program framework, students will be instructed by professional and experienced lecturers with over 14 modules: The roles and functions of leadership; How to become a highly effective leader; Management of change; Creative problem solving and decision making; How to improve and well-manage employee performance, etc.
The program is part of the plan for building up a professional and happy work environment in line with the Resolution of Gemadept Business Conference 2018. The program started at Gemadept H.O. in HCMC, to be followed by similar training programs at some units of the Corporation in this year. All for the sustainable development, professionalism and high effectiveness of Gemadept Corporation as well as better life for each of Gemadept member!
