On December 28, 2018, Vietnam Assessment Report JSC (Vietnam Report) cooperated with Vietnam Net Newspaper to announce the Top Ten Most Reputable Transportation and Logistics Companies in 2018. Accordingly, Gemadept Corporation honorably ranked the first one in the list of "Top Ten most reputable transport and logistics companies in 2018 – Logistics and Warehouse Group".
The ranking is based on scientific and objective principles. Companies are evaluated and ranked based on 3 main criteria: (1) Financial capacity, shown in the most recent financial statements (total assets, total revenue, profit and capital use efficiency) (2) Media prestige, evaluated by Media Coding method – encoding company articles on influential media channels; (3) Surveys of industry experts and Enterprise Surveys, carried out in December 2018 on the size of capital, market, labor, revenue growth rate, profit and operational plan of the year 2019, etc.
Since the first announcement in 2012 up to now, the Top list of reputable enterprises has been continuously expanded to various business industries and has received high appreciation from the business community and experts in the country and abroad. This is the first Logistics business rankings of Vietnam Report, an independent survey.
Objective evaluation from reputable organizations, experts, customers and partners is an important mark to affirm the leading role and position of Gemadept in terms of its continuous growing scale in Vietnam Logistics market.
The official announcement ceremony of Top Ten Most Reputable Transportation and Logistics companies in 2018 took place on January 1st 2019 at Rex Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, in the Announcement Ceremony of VNR500 – Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam in 2018 – in which Gemadept has been honored for many consecutive years.
