On 24 May 2019, the Asia International Economic Forum and Asia Awards Ceremony 2019 was organized in Singapore. At the event, Gemadept Logistics was honored as one of the “Top 100 Asia Most Trusted Brands”.
The year of 2018 marked Gemadept’s radical developments on its path of becoming a leading player in Port Operation and Logistics in both Vietnam and the Region. Following such developments, 2019 is, hence, a pivotal year for Gemadept to successfully accomplish its business plans and “Vision 2020.” Accordingly, the 2019 Business Conference with the topic of “Gemadept – For Sustainable Development – Change to be the Best” was held in Da Lat City in late March, 2019.
On Feb 20,2019 in Phước Hòa, Phú Mỹ, Baria-Vũng tàu, Gemadept – Terminal Link Caimep Terminal JSC (Gemalink) held the Groundbreaking Ceremony to resume the construction of the largest deep sea container port in Vietnam, namely Gemalink Port.
On February 14th 2019, in the bustling atmosphere of the early days of the Lunar New Year, “K” line – Gemadept Co., Ltd. (KGL) solemnly celebrated the Groundbreaking Ceremony and started the construction of Auto-Logistics Center VPC project, specializing in serving leading car manufacturers in the market.
On December 28, 2018, Vietnam Assessment Report JSC (Vietnam Report) cooperated with Vietnam Net Newspaper to announce the Top Ten Most Reputable Transportation and Logistics Companies in 2018. Accordingly, Gemadept Corporation honorably ranked the first one in the list of “Top Ten most reputable transport and logistics companies in 2018 – Logistics and Warehouse Group”.
At “Vietnam Logistics Forum 2018” which took place on 06-07/12/2018 in Quang Ninh with the topic “Logistics connects economic growth regions,” Gemadept Corporation was proudly one of ten enterprises being awarded Certificate of Merit for extraordinary achievement and contribution to the development of Vietnam Logistics for the period of 2017 – 2018 by Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Recently, the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai province organized a meeting and presented the Prize of Typical Entrepreneurs and Enterprises on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13th) to honor and recognize the contributions of business community and entrepreneurs in the province.
